Volvo 240 Interior

I am excited to share my last portfolio project, A Volvo 240 Interior diorama presented in Unreal Engine. It was a challenging and rewarding project that allowed me to expand my skillset from prop art to environment art.

Over a period of five weeks, half-time, I dedicated myself to creating a small diorama that represents the interior of a Volvo 240. I utilized a mid-poly workflow rather than my normal HP to LP workflow. One of the main focuses of this project was making the texturing task as smooth and non-destructive as possible. And with the use of master materials, it saved me a lot of time and made realistic and detailed texture creation go a lot faster.

The project was a blast to work on, and I paid close attention to even the smallest details, such as the controlpanels and the speedometer, to create an immersive and authentic diorama.

Assembling this diorama came with its own set of difficulties, including adjusting to a new workflow and ensuring that the lighting was accurately configured to achieve a lifelike atmosphere. Fortunately, my skilled classmate Linus Härstedt provided valuable assistance and feedback to help me achieve the desired lighting effect.

I am grateful for the invaluable support and feedback I received from my peers and mentors, which helped shape the project and push me to improve my skills. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported me throughout this project. Thank you for your time and attention:
